Contest Rules
1. Pictures must be submitted by 11:59 PM (CT) on Monday, December 18, 2006 to: aftondays @ livejournal.com. Please include your LJ username in your e-mail.
2. The picture(s) you submit must have been taken by you. It doesn't matter when, provided you were the one with the camera at the time. Limit two contest entries per person.
3. The topic is Christmas. This means the subject of your photo should have something to do with Christmas. There is obviously some room for interpretation here, but remember that people will judge the photos based on a variety of things, including whether or not they agree that your picture falls in line with the topic.
4. Photos must be a minimum of 500px and a maximum of 1024px on their longest side. I can resize pictures if you are unable.
5. No edits may be made to contest entries except as follows:
* You may change a color photo to black and white.
* You may crop.
*You may make color changes if your photo was in print and digitized with a scanner, so that the digital version matches the original print version.
All other edits will disqualify your photo(s).Obviously we're going on the honor system here as I can't check up on you. Just remember to keep it fair.
6. All may enter and are encouraged to do so, but I reserve the right to deny entry for any reason I see fit. If entry is denied, my reasons will be given to the entrant and a new photo may be submitted if it complies with these rules.
Please spread the word!

Date: 2006-12-13 04:54 pm (UTC)I'm so glad to have the opportunity to be part of this contest!!
Since 1024 is a standard dimension for digital imaging, would you consider adjusting Rule #4 to accommodate it?
Thanks for thinking about it,
Matt
